CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Due to the economics of holding a class, if a class does not have at least 6 families, we are likely to cancel it and try to move the families to other classes that may work in their schedules. We will make every effort to find a class that works for each family, but if we can not, we will offer a full refund. We will make every effort to make those decisions at least one week prior to the start of the class but occasionally confirmations are done the weekend before classes so we can do our best to get you into your preferred class.
CLASS HOLIDAYS: The following holidays are observed at tuneBugz! and we do not hold classes on the following holidays.
New Years Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thansgiving Weekend (Wed to Sun) and we are not in session the last 2 weeks in December.
If your class regular class meeting day is on one of our holidays - you are invited to attend an alternate class for that week using the make-up scheduler or calling Amber 512-632-6695 to schedule your make-up. Occasionally pro-rates are given at the time of registration if 2 or more holidays are observed on your class day.
For school holidays where we do hold classes, we welcome school aged children to come to class with you! School holidays are a great time to have younger children show off their music class to their older siblings and we love the opportunity to include your whole family.
REFUND POLICY: We offer a full refund up to the day before the semester starts. During the first 2 weeks of the semester while registration is still open - we offer a 50% refund. No refunds are available after day 14 of the semester.
MAKEUP POLICY: Up to 2 classes can be made-up each semester using the make-up scheduler. Please refrain from dropping in on a class, many are very full and can not accommodate drop-ins, thank you. If you need more than 2 make-ups - contact Amber directly to get those scheduled.
CAMERAS/PHONES: We respect every family's right to privacy and ask that cameras and phones be turned off during class. It is imperative that parents and care-givers stay engaged in the activities in class. We know everyone loves to snap a pic here and there - and we love the social media posts - but please only photograph your own child and do so either before or after class only. Phones have become an increasing distraction/disruption to bonding efforts in our parent/child classes as technology becomes more amazing and easy but please - while in class - be present and free from distractions.
FOOD/SNACKS/DRINKS: All food and beverages are prohibited in all of our studios. Water bottles, baby bottles and nursing only please.
BEHAVIORS: At tuneBugz! we all agree to keep everyone safe. Unsafe behaviors include running, playing tag, climbing, hitting, biting etc. Our teachers address unsafe behaviors both with the child and their parent or care-giver. Occasionally teachers may also ask the whole class to help each other by offering gentle reminders and modeling. Teachers will be active in class through gentle modeling and reminders when unsafe behaviors occur. These behaviors while age appropriate will need to be addressed so that everyone in class feels safe and so that accidents remain an uncommon occurance. It is important for us to form a community of support around unsafe behaviors and address them immediately. We ask that everyone save rough-housing, bear cub wrestling matches and games of tag for after class.
